Each fall, the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Board and Executive Director conduct Focus Group meetings with chamber members. The intention is to give you; our member; an opportunity to provide feedback to the chamber.

Grover Museum will open the Streets of Old Shelby for trick or treat. Bring the little ghosts and goblins in after visiting the library’s Frightening Fun-Filled Festival for a stroll through the old town.

The Annual Festival of the Trees opens to the public on Tuesday, November 3rd at Grover Museum. The theme is “My Favorite Pastime” and volunteers from the community have decorated the trees in an amazing array of collections.

This year there will be a “Christmas Brunch” on Saturday, December 5th at 10:00 a.m. in the gallery surrounded by the trees. Details pending.

The Shelby County Historical Society Fall Dinner Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 19th at Grover Museum. Doors open at 6:00. Dinner at 6:30. Catered by Occasions: Chicken Dinner including dessert and drink. Darrin Isaac, Waldron High School student and winner of the 2009 ShelbyIdol competition, will entertain. Reservations are required. Shelby County Players' Masquerade Ball, "Music of the Night," is this Saturday, Oct. 24, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Occasions Banquet Hall, 415 E. Hendricks St., Shelbyville. The evening will include music by the Rush County Big Band, dancing, a costume parade with prizes, fortune telling, vocals from "Phantom of the Opera," delicious hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, silent auction and raffle for a 1/2K total weight diamond ring set in 10Kgold. Tens of thousands of service men and women have been injured in the recent war on terror, many of them suffering traumatic brain injuries, amputations, and severe burns, which will retire them from service. Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) provides programs and services, such as benefits counseling, family assistance, internships and much more, to ease their burdens and aid in the transition back to a successful civilian life.

The lady Mohawks are hosting a pre-game dinner with many very special speakers, and dinner. The Dinner will be donated and prepared by Waldron Health and Rehab center and McKay Manor. Tickets for the dinner are $10.00 and the entire proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project. Following the dinner will be the Mohawks taking on the Lady Jets of Hauser in what should be a great conference game. Silent auction begins at 5:30 many sports items and other items donated by local merchants (list of all sponsors will be posted and announced during the event).

All of our sandwiches are served with French Fries and Slaw. We also have a Fried Chicken Dinner (half a chicken) served with a Baked Potato and Soup or Salad for $11.95.

The Fiddlers Three delivers Corporate box lunches to your site Tuesdays - Fridays from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM. Minimum order required.
