“I WILL SURVIVE”
The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the third annual Shelby County Women’s Expo in partnership with Relay For Life! This event will be held on Saturday, October 17th at the Shelbyville Middle School at 1200 W. McKay Road, Shelbyville, IN. This event will run from 8:30am to 2:30pm.
There will be two breakout sessions throughout the day offering advice and information on women’s issues. Various exhibitors will be on hand to offer their products and services to the attendees.
Dr. Suzanne Metzger is our featured speaker during the Expo luncheon and will be speaking on
“The Ordinary Miracle of Friendship”. At the conclusion of Dr. Metzger’s message the prestigious ATHENA Award will be presented.
The ATHENA Award honors individuals who strive toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment, who excel in their chosen field, devote time and energy to their community in a meaningful way, and forge paths of leadership for other women to follow.
Tickets are now available for this Women’s Expo. The tickets are $35 which includes the luncheon with special guest speaker Dr. Suzanne Metzger, breakout sessions featuring speakers and issues important to women, presentation of the ATHENA Award, and exhibitors sharing their products and services. ** Special June pricing in celebration of Relay for Life, reserve your ticket for just $25.
